Life has been so hectic! I haven’t had a chance until now to update my blog. I have had exciting news. Don’t you hate it when you get great news and then you have to be quiet for a time? That’s excruciating!
Well, here it is…. I was accepted on the Design Team at RAKScraps! Whooo hoooo! I could hardly contain myself. It was fun making designs to send in with my application. Couldn’t believe they emailed me back with an acceptance!
I got to be a part of the February MegaKit. So much fun! The kit turned out beautiful. The theme was Heartfelt Heritage. Here’s my contribution. I don’t know if the preview really gives it justice. But here it is:

Here is the whole kit preview:

Las Vegas Craft & Hobby Association Convention
January 30 – February 2, 2006
I went to CHA with April Anderton, founding editor of
Digital Scrapbooking Magazine. I am her Assistant Editor. We had a blast. Of course, we practically walked our feet off! Let me show you a few pictures…
I’m with April Anderton (founding editor of Digital Scrapbooking Magazine) and Charlene Wells Hawkes (former Miss America) who is with Memory Mixer Software with Lasting Impressions. Amazing software – great big thumbs up. They are using the best designers for their templates, too!

Here’s another shot of Charlene Hawkes talking to a group about Memory Mixer Software.

I met Anna Aspnes! She is soooooo cute and sooooo nice. What a treat!

Here is a fun shot of Renae Pearson and Wendy Armstrong. We caught them at the Westrim Booth. Wendy was hired to take pictures of people with famous look-alike celebrities. I got mine taken with Elvis!

I’m with Katie Pertiet at Westrim’s Booth. We happened to catch Renae Pearson there. Katie has a very nice line of her designs here. Great fun!

Here you’ve got a bunch of silly digi scrappers – Renae Pearson (at her booth promoting her digi book), Clara Wallace, me, Lisa Carter, and Angie Svoboda. We had too much fun!

I took a photo of Jodi, owner of Fancy Pants, at her booth in front of the newest fantastic designs by Michelle Coleman. They are wonderful!

Here’s Jodi again in front of Nancie Rowe Janitz’s amazing designs. I love them! These are fabulous!
